This sample pack is a collection of sounds inspired by the uncanny, the creepy and the weird. I used a range of different synths and effects to explore the possibilities of creating weird sounds. It contains 200 different sounds, ranging from 60 Sound Effects, 50 Drum One Shots, 25 Tonal Sounds, 20 Critters, 20 Drones, 15 Noisy Sequences and 10 Drum Loops. Enter the unknown.
Sampled old Olivetti Summa Quanta 20 calculator from the 70s. It has an uninque mechanical sound and I recorded 41 raw samples, from buttons to switches and even tapping the calculator itself. I then processed the sounds and made 50 unique drum samples based on the raw sound. Kicks, snares, hihats, percussions, even some SFX and loops. This was so fun to make and I hope you like it!

The Mnemosyne Atlas is an unfinished visual and conceptual encyclopedia created by Aby Warburg. It's a collection of images on panels, exploring the "afterlife of antiquity" and how classical themes reappear in art and culture. Warburg's aim was to map these connections and relationships, rather than a traditional historical narrative. I aim to create something similar but with sound, using analog emulations and modern synthesizers to create something new, but reminiscent of something else. I created 50 presets from very different synths and instruments: Jup-8000, SEM, Minibrute, Pure Lo-Fi, Augmented Yangtze and Augmented Mallets
